Why is networking important? All businesses are different and everyone is different too so why is networking important to all businesses?

What we get out of networking and why it is important for business owners. It isn’t just about sales. There is a lot of value to be had from the support that we get from other business owners. Even if they aren’t in the same position as you now, they will likely have been at some point.
You may think you have lots of friends already and therefore you don’t need or have time for more. However, most small business owners, particularly when they are fairly new in business aren’t in the position of having lots of friends who run their own business. They also may not have family who have done it either. Add onto that, many people we care about tell us what we want to hear so they don’t upset us. As you can work out yourself, that doesn’t necessarily lead to constructive feedback which only slows our progress in the end.
We talk about the difference options with regard to frequency and commitment levels of professional networking. Also we cover different formats available.
We talk about visiting groups before committing to parting with your hard earned cash and we also cover those pesky nerves many people have about networking too.
